About Danielle Kattan

 

Following her career as a Fashion designer, Danielle Kattan completed her AA Degree with top honors in culinary Arts in 2006. After graduating she worked as an apprentice with Chef Donald Mc Millan CEC, AAC (The Stocked Pot), rapidly growing to be the company’s pastry and Cake maker. She also competed in Carr’s Kellogg’s “Make it Special” Recipe Contest, winning first place in the dessert category.

After two years Danielle relocated to Thailand with her family, where she continued growing and honing her skills as a cake designer and maker. As part of her Thailand’s experience she successfully completed the Thai Cuisine program at Le Cordon Bleu School, and with this learning the unique art of fruit carving.

Now back in Winston Salem, NC, Danielle Kattan is pursuing her career and business by offering hand-sculpted, exquisitely tailored works of art. Danielle Kattan Cakes display her love for the different cultures she has been expose to influencing much of her design work and cuisine repertoire.
